The Kiss (1907-1908) The first known painting of Klimt that was first exhibited in 1908. The painting was highly notorious and esteemed at the same time.

Love (1895) Feature of a stylish woman closing her eyes, throwing away herself to her first kiss. A gypsy-like man looks down on her about to kiss her.

The Beethoven Frieze (1902) Detail from the first wall of the frieze showing man's search of happiness. It shows a nude man and woman praying for the knight who will set out in search of happiness. Behind them is another woman who stares in observation.

Judith (1901) Personifies the gloom of sexual attraction

Hope (1903) Puts together the promise of new life with the destroying force of death.

Emilie Floge (1902) A portrait of Emilie Floge standing hand on hip, in a dress that the she created.

Danae (1907) Danae, apparently underwater, thighs drawn up. Gold and silver seminal flow rising between her legs. The legend illustrates her mating with Zeus in the form of a gold shower, to conceive Perseus. The small black rectangle is Klimt's representation of maleness to an abstract symbol.

Adele Bloch-Bauer (1907) A portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer clasping her hands (with her deformed finger), dressed in gold, surrounded by gold.

Die Jungfrau (1913) A beautiful and very colorful painting of a group of women yawning, stretching, sleeping. It looks like ten women in one bed with loads of bright duvet.
